The Charitable Lawyer

A woman working for a charity knocks on a prestigious lawyer's door and says, "Excuse me, sir, I couldn't help but notice that despite your wealth, you've never donated."

The lawyer instantly flies into a rage. "Are you kidding me? My mother has AIDS, my brother is dying of cancer, my sister is paraplegic, I have five children, and my wife is struggling with leukemia..." The woman, horrified, begins to apologize, when the lawyer continues, "...and if I won't help them, what makes you think I'd help you?"
