Imaginary Vegetables

Mike ran across Judi working at one of those airport restaurants. He'd ordered the "special", but didn't want the veggies that came with it, so he just passed on 'em. Judi, the cashier, refused to ring him up because it wasn't a special. "It doesn't have any vegetables with it." Mike kept trying to tell her that he didn't want them, so there was no need to get them and waste them. She wasn't having any of it. Finally, Mike told Judi, "Look, just IMAGINE there's vegetables on my tray."

That seemed to work.
