Time Flies

As I walked out to get my mail yesterday morning, I noticed these large insects buzzing around a large maple tree in my front yard. I went over and took a closer look. I noticed all of them had little teeny tiny clocks imbedded in their abdomens. Curious, I called a local bug expert, and described them, and asked him if he knew what they are. He said, "Oh sure, those are just 'time flies'.
